Stephen Smith has over 20 years of experience in managing Real Estate transactions and Mortgage Financing.

In the early 90’s Steve began his career in Portland, OR and was quickly recognized as one of the highest producing brokers in the nation. 

In 1997 Steve joined First Franklin Financial as the Regional Sales Manager where he successfully built and managed a sales force covering 9 states on the Eastern Seaboard and was instrumental in helping the company become one of the largest alternative lenders in the industry.

In 2001 Steve joined Lendia, Inc. as Director of Operations.  With his expertise in management, sales and business process, he expanded the production force from 12 employees to over 130 within a 24 month time frame to get the company nationally recognized and one of the most profitable brokers in the Country.

Steve has been involved with many start up ventures including owning and operating a successful mortgage company.  In addition to his own business operations he is on the Board of Directors for several other companies and organizations.

Steve earned a BS degree from the University of Maine in Business Finance and a degree in Communications from Lyndon State College and resides in Southern Maine.
